DataClean proceedings

Abstracts or extended abstracts of all presented talks and posters will be available at the conference site. These will published in our report series ``Publications of the laboratory of data analysis''. If you like to extend or improve your abstract, it will be possible. We can guarantee this if the new version of abstract is received by us before 6th of May.

Maximum size of extended abstracts is four (4) pages. Extended abstracts should use 11pt Times font in 16~cm by 24~cm print area. Section titles are use bold 14pt font (Times), and abstract title should be in bold 16pt Times font, centered. LaTeX file is preferred for our editing purposes but also Word documents are acceptable. See the following example.

Special RSS issue

Current plan is that best papers from the DataClean 2002 conference will be submitted to a special issue of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series A (Statistics in Society). We have discussed about this with Peter Lynn, Joint Editor of JRSSA. The editorial panel of the journal and our conference committee have agreed with this idea.

As usual RSS papers need to be new (not published before) and all papers will be subject to the usual refereeing procedures. High quality requirement means that there is no guarantee of publication. Also late papers, that are presented as posters in the conference, can be considered, as well as some papers from Euredit project that are not presented in the DataClean conference.

After DataClean there is some time for improvements. The deadline for final paper submission for JRSS is (most likely) end of July 2002.
